James, of High Island, passed away at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital.
He was a lifelong resident of High Island and had been an equipment operator for Galveston County. He served his country in the US Army, was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Winnie and a school board member of the High Island I. S. D. for twenty-seven years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Barrow; son, Kendall Barrow and his wife, Jodie; daughter, Darla DeMoss and her husband, David; sisters, Mildred Fountain, Bertha Hoffpauir; grandchildren, Kandace Russell and her husband, Tony, Lindsay Barrow and her fiancé, Casey Hedges, Kendall Barrow, Jr., Tyler Honea, Richard Barrow, Nicole Honea, Dustin Barrow, David DeMoss, II, Dalton DeMoss, Derek DeMoss, Dannon DeMoss and great-grandchild, Jadyn Russell.
