She was my Great, Great, Grandmother. I never had the chance to know her. She raised six children during a time where there was a lot of racism; Carrie Cabble, Ulysses Simpson Waller, Robert E. Lee "Thummy" Waller, Theodore Roosevelt "Peanuts" Waller, Grant Waller, and Della Cooper. From talking to my relatives that knew her, she was funny, a disaplinarian, and a loving mother, grandmother, and matriarch too her family.
She was born Martha Ferlines in March of 1868 to Edmon Ferlines (I don't know what her mothers name is yet, I'm still researching it) in Uniontown, Kentucky. She had a younger brother named Edward Ferlines.
She died in 1951 at the age of 84 and was laid to eternal rest in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Mount Vernon (Posey), Indiana.
