Sacred to the memory of John Speer ESQR.
Born 5 Novr. 1784 United with his Presbyterian Church in 1809. Ordained a ruling Elder in 1816. Died 20th April 1866.
Firm and dedicated in character;
he was long spared, to adorn his profession and office. He rest from his labors. Oh Death where is thy sting.
