Actress. She was born Anel Sudakevich in Russia, to a Ukrainian father and a Swedish mother. She appeared in Russian motion pictures during the silent era and in German movies during the 1930s. From 1934 she played in American motion pictures with Metro Goldwyn Mayer: "Nana" (1934) with Lionel Atwill and Mae Clarke, "We Live Again" (1934) with Fredric March, "The Wedding Night" (1935) with Gary Cooper. During the 1950s and 1960s she appeared in several TV series.
