Clency Harvey Cummings was the tenth of eleven children born to William Harvey and Cloud Owna (Whitebread) Cummings. Left to mourn his sudden death at the age of 14 years, 10 months and 1 day is his parents and siblings: Galen, Eva, Gladys, Cecil, John Ray, Marie, Edgar, Eulavee ,Verna and Delbert. Verna, Clency's 4 year old sister passed away 13 days after Clency's birth.

Clency was originally buried in the Payton Cemetery but was moved to Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs along with his father and sister.
