Frank Walters, 61, of Oneida, passed away April 25, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center of Knoxville.
Born in Pisgah, Kentucky, June 30, 1946, he was preceded in death by his parents, Addison Esley Walters and Willie Owens Walters Smith; stepfather, Conellan Smith; granddaughter, Savannah Meagan Walters; twin brother, Clarence Dwight Walters; half-brothers: Raymond, Roy, and Gene Walters, and half-sister, Mae Walters Smith. He was a member of West Oneida United Baptist Church.

He is survived by Eva Walters of Jamestown, and their children: Karen Walters and Buddy Carroll, Roger Walters and wife, Lisa, Ronnie Walters and wife, Weatherly, Sharon Wilson and James, Danny Walters and Tammy Robbins, Celia and Katrina Gibson, and Jerry Acres and wife, Caroline; sisters: Ethel Young and husband, Eugene, of Barbourville, Ky., Elsie Jones and the late Ronald, of Pioneer, and Lily Mae Mays and husband, Roscoe, Delsey Roysdon and husband, Herbert, all of the Pine Kill community, and Esther Duncan and husband, Paul, of Oneida;
15 special grandchildren, and many other relatives.
Funeral service was conducted April 28, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Hutson officiating.

Interment followed in Black Oak Cemetery.

Frank has a grandson burried next to him, Joshua Adam Walters born Sept 10, 1993 and died Aug 23, 2011.
