Rev. Vernon Noel Cunningham, 86, of Campbell, Mo., died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Ark.

Born Sept. 2, 1922, in Lafe, Ark., son of the late James and Carrie Dane Cunningham, Jr., he was a minister and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Campbell.

On Dec. 2, 1946, in Gideon, Mo., he married Roxie Tyler, who survives.

Survivors also include five children, Aletha Malin, Garry Cunningham and wife, Linda, and Gerald Cunningham and wife, Kathy, all of Campbell, Vickie Stroud, of Barttlesville, Okla., and Teresa Crawford and husband, Steve, of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Ruby Sullivan, of Denver Colo.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., today, Friday, Oct. 17, at the Landess Funeral Home in Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Mike Glover and Daren Baker officiating.

Burial will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery-Landess Addition at Campbell.
