Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Stone, 95, were held Wednesday, February 23, @ 4 p.m. in the Christian Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Willard Brewley and the Rev. LeRoy Jackson officiating.
She was born 8/8/1876 in Chico & had resided here for 40 yrs. She married Judge Culver Stone in 1891 and he preceded her in death in January 1943. She died Tuesday, February 22 at Gainesville Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Wilton Stone and Herman Levi Stone both a Decatur; three daughters, Mrs. Maye Roach of Gainesville, Mrs. Faye Jones of Sacramento, California and Mrs. Evalena Shepherd of Anadarko, Oklahoma and 40 grandchildren.
Interment was in Pleasant Grove Cemetery #1.
