Thomas McGlynn was ordained a priest in 1932 in Washington, D. C. In 1934 he received a diploma in sculpture from the Royal Academy of Art in Rome. He also studied at the Cranbrook Academy, Michigan.
Father McGlynn's sculptures include Our Lady of Fatima (in the niche of the Shrine at Fatima), St. Dominic, St. Martin de Porres (located in St. Raymond's Cemetery, New York), and busts of Popes.
