Spc. Adam Wenger of Jesup, Georgia was originally of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina before he moved his family to Jesup, Georgia. He was currently serving in the United States Army in Iraq. He was also a veteran of Kosovo and Afghanistan. He proudly served his country and was a wonderful father and an amazing husband. Survivors: wife: Brandy D. Wenger of Jesup, GA; three daughters: Erica and Starla Adams of Stilson, GA, and Aubrey of Jesup, GA; four sons: Austin, Landin, Jacob, and Matthew, all of Jesup, GA; his mother: Jo Wenger of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his father: David Wenger of West Virginia; a brother and sister-in-law: David and Kate Wenger of Mt. Pleasant, SC; three nieces and four nephews. He died at age 27 in Tunnis, Iraq, of injuries sustained during a non-combat incident.
