Leo R. Myers, 77, of Flint, died Wednesday, May 17, 1989, in Flint Osteopathic Hospital. Born in Pinconning, Oct. 5, 1911, he was an area resident since 1953. Mr. Myers was employed by Buick Motor Division for 30 years and retired in 1971. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Myers and the former Pearl Myers were married Feb. 11, 1929, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 sons, Don, Robert, Gene and Marvin; 3 daughters, Mrs. Bernard (Joyce) Eagleson, Mrs. Harvey (Maxine) Wice and Mrs. Duane (Chris) Habedank; 2 brothers, George and Orvel; 24 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Rites were held Friday at 1 p.m. from the Reigle Funeral Home, Flint. Dr. Theodore Doane officiated and burial was in the Butman Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 05-24/1989 Column - 3 Page - 2
