Ruby (Oberg) Ulrich
Ruby Marie Elizabeth (Oberg) Ulrich 66, of Seward, Nebr., died Monday Sept. 6, 1982. She was born in Frontier County July 18, 1916 to John and Antonia (Johnson) Oberg. She taught in rural schools and attended college at Nampa, Idaho and at the University of Nebraska. She married Wayne Ulrich on Oct. 2, 1941. She received a bachelor's degree from Concordia College, Seward in 1959 and taught in the Seward Schools until her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne, one son, John and his wife, Phyllis, two brothers Clarence and Lawrence, both of Farnam, tow sisters, Gladys Sukraw of Maxwell and Lois (Mrs. Earl) Rice of Del Rio, Texas, and two grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9th at the United Methodist Church, Seward. Pastors Marvin Koilling and Steven Fladen officiating. Burial was in the Seward Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Zavita, Robert Matzke, Carl Fosler, Fred Deeds, Jim Anneson and Don Whittemore.
