Theodore V. Marshall, 70, a resident of Corpus Christi since 1937 until three years ago when he moved to Harlingen, died Thursday morning in a Harlingen hospital after a long illness.

Born in Arkansas, he was a former employe of the Texas Battery Co. here until his retirement.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today in Clifford Jackson Funeral Home on Kostoryz. B. J. Cheatham, minister of the Norton Street Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Bell Larsh of Corpus Christi and Mrs. W. D. Choate of San Antonio; two sons, Robert A. and Richard L. Marshall, both of Corpus Christi; one sister, Mrs. Gladys Newman of San Antonio and two brothers, James N. Marshall of San Antonio and Fred A. Marshall of Harlingen; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
