Alvin B. Marshall, 50, of 4417 Christie, a resident of Nueces County since 1930, died at 7:30 p.m yesterday at a local hospital.
Funeral services will be Clifford Jackson Funeral Chapel at 9:30 a.m. tomorrow, with the Rev. Ralph Hasten, pastor of Wesley Methodist Church officiating.
Burial will be at Seaside Memorial Park.
Marshall was owner of the Texas Battery Service. He had lived here since 1936.
Surviving are his wife, Jewelle; one daughter, Mrs. Georgia Lee Duckworth of Corpus Christi; a son, Pfc. Alvin B. Marshall Jr. of Ft. Sam Houston; three brothers, Fred A. of Cove, Ark., Jim and Ted, both of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Vedith Galloway of Cove, Ark., and Gladys Newman of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.
