Donald Edwin Bolsinger was born the son of Clarence and Eleanor (Radabaugh) Bolsinger, September 25, 1930, on the family farm near Graham. He died died Monday, June 23, 2008, on the John Wessel Farm near Colesburg from a farming accident. Don received his education locally and was a logger and farmer for many years. He served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. On January 2, 1954, he was united in marriage with Helen Spielbauer at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg. Don was a member of the Colesburg American Legion, AMVETS, and VFW in New Vienna. He enjoyed playing cards, mushroom and raspberry hunting and cracking walnuts. Those left to cherish his memory, his wife Helen; two daughters, Mary (Dwight) McCormick of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., and Elizabeth (Dan) Kelly of Guttenberg; six sons, Terry (Cindy) Bolsinger of Epworth, Ed (Connie) Bolsinger of Colesburg, Ron (Sue) Bolsinger of Edgewood, Lyle (Kim) Bolsinger of Colesburg, Joe Bolsinger of Seattle, Wash., and Dale (Tammy) Bolsinger of Greeley; four sisters, Lila Mae (Arthur) Herman of Guttenberg, Ida Block of Guttenberg, Ruth (Jim) Horstman of Davenport, and Doris Bolsinger of Colesburg; four brothers, Ralph (Pat) Bolsinger of Mission, Texas, Robert "Bud" (Sheila) Bolsinger of Colesburg, LeRoy (Barb Herman) Bolsinger of Colesburg, and Kenneth (Jane) Bolsinger of Colesburg; thirty grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents, one son, John and one brother, Delbert.
