CHARLES HERBERT PRICE

Charles Herbert Price, 47, 225 5th Avenue NW, died Wednesday at 7:55 p.m. at a local hospital.

Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Caddo Methodist Church. Rev. Jack Jones, Rev. W.W. Coffey and Rev. Ernest Shelton will officiate. Burial will be in the Caddo Cemetery, Guntharp Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Charles H. Price, Decatur; two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Moore Jr, Decatur and Miss Debbie Price, Decatur; a son, Benny Price, Decatur; a grandson, Randall Moore, Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. C.G. Price, Decatur; and Mrs. S.J. Miller, Decatur; four brothers, W.E. Price, Addison; Homer Price, Trinity; Dan Price, Decatur; and Lee Price, Gadsden; a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gordon Price, Kenneth Moates, J.C. Price, Wayne Price, Gilbert Thrasher and Danny Rose.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the deacons of the Trinity Baptist Church.

The body was returned to the residence today at 3 p.m. and will remain there until time to be taken to the church where it will lie in state from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Price was a member and a deacon of the Trinity Baptist Church and a member of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge No. 29 in Decatur.
