Merritt is my great great grandfather. He is burried at his old homestead near Fordlanf, Webster County, Missourri.
His first wife, Prudence Leta Gatewood, is burried beside him. His second wife (my great great grandmother)SarahRachel Elizabeth Holdaway Stroud is burried nearby in the Steward Cemetery.
He has about 14 children and hundreds of descendants around the country.
