Marvell A. Brotherson, 80, of Lakeland, died Friday at Oak Ridge Village Nursing Home in Lakeland.
She was a native of Columbia, S.C., and had lived in Lakeland for the past 12 years, coming from Interlachen. She was a member of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Lakeland and a housewife.
She is survived by three daughters, Ruth Taunton and Colline Simpson, both of Lakeland, and Nancy Hanna of Deltona; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mass was said at 11:30 a.m. today at St. Johns Catholic Church in Interlachen with the Rev. John J. Heeray officiating. Burial was in Pineview Cemetery in Interlachen. There were no public calling hours.
