Fannie A. Enke, 79, Farlington died at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, March 22, 1979, at the Girard hospital. She had been ill for 12 years.

Mrs. Enke was born Sept. 27, 1899 in Greenfield, Mo. She later lived in Stotts City, Mo. and moved in 1918 to Farlington, where she lived ever since.

She married Elmer Enke in 1918 in Stotts City. He died on July 23, 1960.

Survivors include three daughters, Esther Noe and Virginia Boggs both of Farlington, and Wanda Mingori, Chicopee; two sons Frank Enke and Don Hawkins, both or Girard; two brothers, Burney Foust, Farlington, and Lee Foust, Visaliea, Calif.; 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Two sons Orville Enke and Howard Hawkins, died before her.
