It's been a long time since I have done research on the family.
A son of Robert & Sally, Sanford Fillmore Bennett, wrote the song, Sweet Bye and Bye.
Sanford is buried in Cedarvale Cemetery in Solon Mills, Mc Henry Co., IL

While researching Clark family I came across one who married a Bennett who may have been orphaned. He was born in IL.
