Florence was the daughter of William and Anna N. (Strock) Strauss and the wife of Edwin S. Arena. Florence and Edwin were married 49 years in October. She worked for Bethlehem Steel Company and Laros Silk Mill.
Survivors: Her husband; daughter, Sandra wife of Michael Molnar of Center Valley; sons, Donald Strauss Arena and wife Pauline of Hellertown; sisters, Ruth Moyer; Eunice Hanselman; Dorothy Daneker of Quakertown; Betty Shannon of Hellertown; Marjorie Mapp of Holmes; Faye Wetzel of Souderton; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Kenneth and Bobby; sisters, Verna Fluck and Grace Ruch.
