Lester was the son of Cecil Allen Weeks and Gertrude Minnie Partin Weeks. He was little brother to Alice Gertrude Weeks Lasseter. He was married to "Kitty" McGee and father to Judy, Steve, Billy & Bobby. Lester was a comedian at heart. He loved to make others laugh. Maybe it hid the pain. Lester died from a self inflicted gunshot wound. Lester was my uncle. My grandmother was so devastated by her loss she was not able to attend his funeral. I like to think they are together again restored with the laughter ringing out once again.
