In the name of God Amen. I Martin Wilard being weak of body but of sound mind and memory on the third day of January in the year of our lord One Thousand eight hundred and nineteen make and ordain this to be my last will and testament, 1st Item--I do will and equeath to my daughter Margret Holudy and her husband Robert Holudy the Plantation I now live on during their natural lives, if they will live on the said farm, but if they remain off the said farm my executor shall have the power to take the said lands into possession and let them to rent which money, may be put to the maintainance of my grandaughter Rachel Willard the daughter of Margret, I do also Will and bequeath that the money that is due from Samuel Chambers to me shall be put to the paying for my land.

I also wil and bequeath to my daughter Margret two feather beds and furniture the first choice in my house and one young mare named lightout and one cow and heifer with all their increase, one trunk with all that is contained therein. One looking glass four chairs one table two spining wheels and ten heads of hogs and all my pot iron and all my puter and earthen ware, with tubs pails trays &c which property shall belong to the said Margret, provided she stays on the lands above willed to her but if the said Margret moves off the said lands the above property is to be sold by the executor and the money arising from the sale to go to the use of said Margret as necessity shall require it.

Item. I will and bequeath to my son Joseph Willard one hundred and ninety five dollars which money I let to him some time past.

Item. I do will and bequeath to my son Daniel Willard one hundred and ninety five dollars there is one hundred and sixty which I let to him and thirty two to be raised by my executor out of my estate and paid to the said Daniel.

Item. The ballance of my estate I do will and bequeath to my five daughters Elizebeth Evins, Muriam Evins, Rebecca Evins, Sarah Evins, Rody Draper to be equally devided between them.

In witness of the same I have set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

Four daughters of Martin & Rachel (--?--) Willard married four sons of Robert & Elizabeth JESSOP Evans. Sarah m. John; Elizabeth m. Joseph; Miriam m. Thomas; & Rebecca m. Benjamin. A Rachel may have m. Willis Evans, but, though then alive, is not mentioned in Martin's will.
