Mrs. J. C. Cobb Dies Sunday;
Services Tuesday

Mrs. J. C. (Nanney) Cobb, Rt. 2, Puryear died at her home Sunday Evening at 5:00 PM. She was 84.

Funeral services will be held at the Palestine Church Tuesday at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in the direction of McEvoy Funeral Home. The body will be at McEvoy Funeral Home until time for the services.

Mrs. Cobb was the daughter of the late Gustavious Baker and Hester Ann Holliday Baker. She was born in Henry County near Henry. She was a member of the Liberty Methodist Church in Carroll County.

She was married to J. C. Cobb, who survives. She also leaves one son, Howell Cobb, Puryear; one brother Martin Baker, Henry; and six grandchildren.
