Rites Set Wednesday For MRS. CarrolI, 90
Funeral services for Mrs. Janie Carroll, 90, of 604 Oak street, Danville, who died at 7:30 o'clock Monday morning at her home after a long illness, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by the Rev. George H. Lynn of Hustonville, pastor of Southern Avenue Baptist Church of Danville, at Stith Funeral Home here. Burel will be in Bellevue cemetery.
A native of Mercer, county, where she was born Oct. 1, 1871, Mrs. Carroll had lived here over 30 years and was a member of Highland Court Christian Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth West, Danville, and Mrs. Marie Morris, Erlanger; a son, Edwin Watts Sr., Lexington, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
