The Bethleham native was born May 30, 1919. She was employed by the former Berkshire Knitting Mill in Wyomissing and by Ludens, Reading and R.M. Palmer Co. in West Reading. Anna was also employed in sales and samples at local retail stores. She was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Reading. While Anna enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking and gardening, her greatest joys were her grandchildren. She was a daughter of the late John Chymczuk and Aniela Evancho Chymczuk. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Michewicz, who died Jan. 28, 1969; three brothers, John, Harry and Peter; and a sister, Helen Chymczuk Billinger.
The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. EDT Saturday at the Blessed Virgin Mary Ukrainian Catholic Church in Reading, with burial at the parish's cemetery in Cumru Township. Visitation is from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. EDT Friday and from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. EDT Saturday at Kopicki-Bradley Funeral Home.
