McHENRY, ANDREW J. - Age 78, died 15 Oct 1929 at his home at Atwood, on the Wetzel-Tyler county line. He was born on Burch Ridge, Franklin District, Marshall Co, WV and resided there until after he was grown. He was married to Maggie Williams of the same neighborhood, who died four years ago. To this union twelve children were born: Charles of Atwood; Mrs. Rosa Burgess of Glen Dale, WV; Mrs. Jessie Rogers, wife of the late C. H. Rogers, at home; Mrs. S. C. Butler of Atwood; T. W. McHenry of Sistersville, WV; Mrs. C. W. Black of Tarentum, PA; Chest of Atwood; Forest of Duncan Falls, OH; Mrs. Leroy Mayfield of Iuka, WV; Mrs. Troy Wilcox of Iuka; Mrs. A. B. Steele of Akron, OH; and Mrs. Lemasters of Stone Branch, Logan Co, WV. Raymond was burned to death in a gasoline explosion six or seven years ago. J. E. McHenry of Moundsville, WV is a brother. Mr. McHenry was a member of the Atwood Methodist Church. Burial in the Atwood Cemetery.
