Cordle Family Book gives Adaline' birth as 1837 on page 5, and 1833 on page 75. Her tombstone says she was 78 when she died in 1911, making the birth year 1833. The 1900 Floyd Co., GA census shows it as Jan 1831, with an age of 69 (or 67?). Family search.org gives place of birth as VA, but all the censuses give it as GA.
On the widow's Pension application, when asked for her birthday, she said "do not remember, about 1832 in Fayette Co., GA".
