Professional Football Player. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was a tackle for the University of Notre Dome when he was drafted in the NFL 8th round by the Chicago Bears in 1949. For eight seasons 1950 to 1957, he played for the Bears and appeared in the 1955 Pro Bowl. He died at age 69 in Westchester, Illinois.
