Mrs. Kathryn "Kay" Dix, 92 years, of So. Toledo, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Hospice Center, Perrysburg. Kay was born and raised in Toledo, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Dahm) Hartnett. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1934 and had a 50 year career as a legal secretary in several law offices. She was a 50 year member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Kay was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Donald W. Dix, who died in 2002 and sisters, Mary Jane Oldiges, Lenore Coger and Dorothea Holt. Surviving is her foster daughter, Martha Turner of Miami, Florida along with nieces and a nephew. Friends may call at the Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Rd. on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will begin Saturday at 9:15 a.m. in the mortuary followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may take the form of a contribution to the church.
