Prominent Pickens County Man Dead -
B. B. Gilstrap, aged 69, a well known and highly respected citizen of Pickens county, where he lived all his life, died yesterday at his home near the town of Pickens, after an illness of three weeks. He was twice married, his first wife having been Miss Reid of Pickens county. Of this union, the following children survive: J. S., W.L. Joab and Hardy Gilstrap and Mrs. Joseph Wyant. His second wife, who survives, was before her marriage Miss Lucretia Dacus of Dacusville. Mr. Gilstrap was a member of the Pickens View Methodist Church and the funeral services will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
