Otto Henry Baumgarten 74, Route 2, Reedsburg, died suddenly at home on Sunday November 25, 1984.

He was born January 22, 1910 in Loganville to William Baumgarten and Emma (Stolte) Baumgarten. He married Laurene Wolter on January 1, 1935 in rural Reedsburg, and was a life-long member of St. Peter's Lutheran church of Loganville, where he sang in the choir and taught Sunday school for about 35 years. He was also a member of the Narrows Prairie school board for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Laurene; two sons, Allen, West Covina, CA and James. Redondo Beach, CA; five grandchildren; five brothers, Martin, North Freedom Rev. Edmund, Oshkosh, William and Melvin, Loganvile and Erwin, Reedsubrg.

Funeral services were held on Thursday in St. Peter's Lutheran church of Loganville with Rev. George Gtzmann officiating. Burial was made in St.Peter's cemetery of Loganville.
