Funeral services for Ell Jay Carpenter. 82. Riverside Trailer Park, Ruskin, will be held from the Lewers and Shannon Funeral Home Chapel Sunday afternoon with Rev. Donald Walling, pastor of Ruskin Methodist Church officiating. The remains will be sent to Logansport, Ind., for final funeral and interment services
A native of Indiana, he lived in the Ruskin area for several years and was a retired painter in the automobile industry. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maude Carpenter; daughters, Mrs. Willard Kouhausen and Mrs. Carl Simpkins, both South Bend Ind., and a son, Roy Carpenter, California.
