Joseph Leo Lais Served in the first world war, and went on into a career as a bank teller, and eventually, he worked for the Minnesota Highway Patrol Department. He and his wife Gertrude lived in St Paul, MN.
Joe was a wonderful Character, though he was not tall, nor particularly unusual in his appearance, his smiling face and twinkling eyes made him light up a room when he entered. He was loved by all, and treated everyone he met with wit, respect, and interest. He is missed by all his grandchildren, and by all who knew him.
