Mr. Pecaro was the father of Bonnie Phillips of Edgerton, Wis., August Pecaro Jr., also of Edgerton, and Anthony (Lynn) Pecaro of Harwood Heights; grandfather of many.
He was retired as a truck driver for the meat industry. He was a member of the American Legion and the Legion of Honor Guard.
Visitation was held Jul. 12 in Northlake Funeral Home. Funeral services were private.
