Wife of William Henry Kennard.

According to Lorelle Parrott Weidlein, her GG Granddaughter, she came over to America on a ship from England in 1803, arriving in the Port of Baltimore. Her brother, Baltis Branson, had arrived in America earlier. She was pregnant with William Henry Kennard, Jr., during the voyage, and had with her another small child of hers and William Henry Sr.'s. After her arrival here, William Henry Sr. was on his way from England to America and was "lost at sea." He was an importer, and was lost at sea on one of his trips.

www.familysearch also shows he was lost at sea, about 1803.

Her death notice appeared in the Baltimore Sun newspaper on 1 June, 1847, pg.2.

Her gravestone in Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore, Maryland, states: "In loving memory of Lucy Kennard. Died 29 May 1847 in the 77th year of her age. Mother of William H. Kennard - Sister of Baltis Branson."

On September 8, 1876, the following were moved from Western Cemetery to Loudon Park: LUCY KENNARD - Louisa Kennard - William H. Kennard - Amelia S. Kennard - Baltis Branson - Mary Branson - Barbara Forney - Almira Kennard - Thomas Hooper (infant) - Nathaniel Webb.

Bio by: Judy Glanville, her GGG Granddaughter.
