ZITO, CATHERINE R., 87, of Birmingham passed away on December 13, 2008. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Angelina Russo; brothers, Fred, Connie, and Joseph Russo; and son, Frank J. Zito. She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Zito; her 3 children, Rose M. Latino (Benny), Angel Joseph (Mark) of New York, and Benny Joe Zito; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, December 16th at 10:00AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church. The graveside service will take place immediately following at Elmwood Cemetery.
