A memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, in Willamette National Cemetery for William Frederick Houx, who died Sept. 30 at age 60.
William Frederick Houx was born Nov. 18, 1946, in La Grande. He served in the Army in the Vietnam War. He was a regional marketing manager for a credit and collection agency. He lived in Portland for 30 years, then moved to The Dalles. In 1972, he married Ellen Kullmann.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Leonard and Damon; and sister, Susan Hamilton.
