Suggested edit: Mrs. Alma M. Mathias, 74 of Tiffin, Mother of Mrs. Jack (Margaret) Cross, Bucyrus, died in Tiffin Mercy Hospital at 12:15 Friday after a year's illness.

Born April 18, 1896, in Cootes Store, Va., Mrs. Mathias was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson (Margaret Ritchy) Runyon.

Besides Mrs. Cross, she is survived by her husband, Jesse L. Mathias and three sons, Norval, Gerald, and Paul. Three daughters, Mrs. Kensel (Mattie) Killey, Mrs. Orville (Jane) Alabaugh, all of Tiffin, and Mrs. Milford (Berneice) Biller, of Timberville, Va., a sister, Mrs. Otis (Hazel) Mitchell, of Broadway, Va., 27 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Turner-Engel Funeral Home in Tiffin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Ben Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Fairmont Cemetery.
