DAVID WESLEY FOURNESS JR. of Fair Oaks, Indiana

Rebeccah Faith Fourness, age 38 and David Wesley Fourness Jr., age 4 of Fair Oaks, Indiana, passed away on July 29, 2008 as a result of a tragic auto accident that took place on Monday, July 28, 2008 while traveling on I-65 in Roselawn, Indiana. Rebeccah is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, David W. Fourness Sr.; 2 sons, Samuel, age 9 and Michael, age 5; parents, Paul and Carolyn Anderson of Brockton, Massachusetts; 3 sisters, Karen (Bob) Anderson and Sarah (Andrew) Barrett of Orange, MA and Lydia Anderson of Brockton, MA; 2 brothers, Peter (May) Anderson of Salem, NH and Matthew (Carrie) Anderson of Athol, MA; 2 grandmothers, Phyllis Kingsbury and Ellen DeMaranville, both of Massachusetts; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her 2 sons, Daniel Paul and Joseph and one daughter, Priscilla Dion Fourness. David is survived by his father, David and 2 older brothers, Samuel and Michael; grandparents, Paul and Carolyn Anderson, Charles Wesley Fourness Sr. and Roberta Jeanne Fourness; 2 great grandmothers and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. directly at First Baptist Church, 473 Sibley, Hammond, with a time of viewing from 10 a.m. until the service at 11 a.m. with Dr. Jack Schaap and Dr. Johnny Colsten officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Memorial Park in Schererville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, August 4, 2008 at Bocken Funeral Home, 7042 Kennedy Avenue, Hammond (Hessville) from 4 until 8 p.m.The Fourness family have been faithful members of First Baptist Church in Hammond for over 20 years. Becky was a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College. She was a faithful member of the Friday, Candle of the Lord Soul Winning Club. Becky was an outstanding worker in the church nurseries. She and her husband were members of the Main Auditorium Sunday School Class and David attended the Little Learners Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Fourness Family Memorial Trust Fund, c/o Forest Park National Bank, Atten: Retail Banking, 7348 W. Madison St., Forest Park, IL 60130.
