SCHWAB – Sister Mary Cecilia of Blessed Sacrament, Discalced Carmelite Nun of the Monastery of St. Theresa Lisieux, Loretto, died at 3 a.m. Dec. 26, 1954, in Mercy Hospital, Altoona. Former Mary Jane Teresa Schwab, daughter of late John and Pauline (Farabaugh) Schwab. Born Loretto Feb. 7, 1876. Sister of late Charles M. Schwab. Survived by sister, Mrs. David Barry, Pittsburgh; brother, Edward H., Westport, Conn., and Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., and several nieces and nephews. Remains may be viewed in monastery chapel. Most Rev. Richard T. Guilfoyle, Bishop of Altoona Diocese, will officiate at a pontifical mass of requiem at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel. Internment, monastery cemetery. Casher Funeral Home, Cresson.
