Ronald Lee Wilkeson, 65, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Ron was a veteran of the USMC and also served in the National Guard. He worked for many years for Southern Bell. He was predeceased by his wife, Margie, last year and his brother Leon. Survivors include: his children, Lori, Steven (Jeanne), and Darrell (Trina); his parents, Russell and Mabel Wilkeson; 2 sisters, Mary Wilkeson and Marlene Lusk and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave. with Pastor Hartford Peeples officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial with Military Honors will follow at 1:00 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
