ALVEY, WILLIAM R. "RICH," 57, of Louisville passed away Sunday, April 29,2007, at Hospice of Louisville. He was a retired programmer analyst for Louisville Metro Government and had also worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kentucky for 20 years. He was a National Guard veteran. He is survived by his wife, the former Nancy N Miller; his mother, Clorena Alvey; two daughters, Angela Miller and Amy Alvey; and one son, David Alvey. Funeral: noon Wednesday at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2141 Lancashire Ave., with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday, 2-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Donations may go to Hospice of Louisville or American Diabetes Association.
