Jacob Blue, son of Peter Blue & Susannah Kelch, married Sharlotte Mortimore, 18 May 1818, Pickaway Co., OH. They were parents of Alice, Mary, Abraham, William, Margaret, Jacob, JR, Peter, David, Susannah, and Benjamin. After his marriage Jacob lived in Ohio till 1833 when he settled in Benton, Elkhart Co., IN. Son Benjamin born 1843 died of Typoid Fever in Sumner, TN contracted while serving in Civil War.
