Funeral services for Loretta Phyllis LaBouve, 70, of Youngsville, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2007 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church of Jennings with Rev. Edward Brunnet M.S. officiating.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery under direction of Matthews & Son Funeral Home of Jennings, La.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m.in the funeral home, Sunday and from 8 a.m. until time of services on Monday.
Mrs. LaBouve died Friday, June 22, 2007 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette. She was a native of Eunice (Tepetate), raised in Jennings and a resident of Youngsville at time of death. She loved to travel. She also loved to collect angels, brass, wind chimes & music boxes. She loved Indian pictures, jewelry & Windchasers.
Survivors include five sons: Jerry Nelson LaBouve and his wife Barbara Jean (Cunningham) of Houma, Michael David LaBouve & his wife Debra (Thibodeaux)(of Granberry, Texas, Lonnie James LaBouve and his wife Kathy (Besse) of Berwick, La., Danny Paul LaBouve and his wife Daphne (Oubre) of Youngsville, John Shayne LaBouve and his wife Dana (Sanford)of Youngsville, three daughters: Richelle Ann (LaBouve) Duplantis and her husband Nelson of Houma, Sheila Marie (LaBouve) Van Matre & her husband Billy of Magnolia, Texas and Esther Lynn (LaBouve) Lee and husband Bart of Houma. One brother; Philip Gerald Bergeron and wife Marlene of Jennings; Three sisters; Betty Jane Bergeron Hebert and husband Placide of Lake Arthur, Mardrie Bergeron Dupuis and husband Al of Scott and Virgilian Bergeron of Jennnings; 22 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip & Esther (Lejeune) Bergeon, her husband, Nelson John LaBouve and two sisters, Jenora (Bergeron-Hammons) Clemens & Sherrell (Bergeron-Day) Trahan.
