Obit - "Jane Baker, aged 82 years, died this morning at 1:15 o'clock of flux.
Mrs. Baker came to Kansas from Iowa with her husband, David Baker, in 1886. They resided in Gray county for two years, coming to this city in 1888. She was the mother of seven children, all of whom are living, the youngest 45 years old.
She was married to Mr. Baker sixty-one years ago.
For the past four years Mrs. Baker has been an invalid, most of the time unable to sit up, even in bed. At that time she slipped and broke her shoulder blade, and that was hardly well before she fell and broke her hip.
She was a patient, Christian woman, and bore her trials without a murmur of complaint.
She leaves numerous relatives and friends to mourn her death.
The funeral will take place from her late residence at 331 Sherman street, at 3 o'clock to-morrow afternoon. Rev. Miss Brant will officiate."
