Martin John Rolla was called "Eddie".
Eddie was the son of John Rolla and Frances Rom.
Eddie was in World War II and was killed on
Iwo Jima. He was a PFC in the Marines,
1st Battalion, 5th Division, 28th Marines at
Iwo Jima.

Note: Disinterred from Rock Island National
Cemetery. His body was sent back to Chicago
and is interred with his family at St. Mary
Catholic Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Cook County,
Illinois
