Donna Rae Bate Kautz 1925 ~ 2006

Donna Rae Bate Kautz, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed from this mortal existence Wednesday, April 5, 2006.

Born February 26, 1925 in Salt Lake City to Jesse Walter Bate and Hazel Finn Bate.

She married Gerard Constantine Kautz January 14, 1944 and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

He preceded her in death in 1975.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She served as ward librarian, Sunday school secretary, 1st counselor in the Relief Society, compassionate service leader and many more callings.

She was a member of the Wells Ward Family Home Evening Group and a member of the D.U.P.

She leaves behind three children, daughter, Linda Roberts and husband Jerrald Roberts, sons, Michael Kautz and Norman Kautz, brothers, Vaughn Bate and Marvin Bate, 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grand-children.

Viewing will be at Colonial Mortuary, 2128 S. State St., Friday, April 7, 2006 from 7-9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Wells Ward, 1990 S. 500 E., viewing 10:00- 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be in the Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd.
