Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Daisy Fountaine, 77, Bluffton, former Wabash resident, who died in the Wells County Hospital Monday evening at 10:30 o'clock. Mrs. Fountaine had been ill for one week, suffering from a fractured hip.
Born April 17, 1874 in Wabash, she was the daughter of Theodore and Rebecca Cory. The decedent was married in Wabash in 1915 to Edward Fountaine who preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 1919.
Mrs. Fountaine moved from Wabash to Wells County where she had been a resident for the last 35 years. She was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church at Bluffton.
She is survived by one step-daughter, Miss Ella Fountaine, Bluffton.
The body remains at the Zahn Funeral Home, Bluffton, where funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 10 o'clock with the Rev. Matthew Worthman presiding. Burial will be in the Falls Cemetery here.
