The funeral of Mrs. Minnie Harris, who passed away at a Spokane hospital, was held from St. Mark's Episcopal church Saturday morning, Archdeacon Coffin of Spokane conducting the impressive service. The large number of floral tributes that were banked around the bier was evidence of the high estemm held for the deceased. Interment was in the Ritzville cemetery, the pallbearers being J. H. Fink, A. J. Fink, Hal Gritman, V. A. Chargois, R. C. Woolson and Dr. Wm. Fr. Armann.

Minne Belle HEATER was born in Circleville, Ohio, Nov. 11, 1878, the oldest child of Edward and Margaret Heater. She was 11 years of age when the family moved to Adams county where they resided on a farm 18 miles south of Ritzville. The deceased received her education in the schools of Ritzvill and was married to Claude H. Harris, June 15, 1898. Two children were born to the union, a daughter, Vera Muriel Bennington, now of Walla Walla, and a son, Harold Cedric Harris, who resides in Bakersfield, California.

Mrs. Harriss was a communicant of St. Mark's Episcopal church and a member of St. Mark's Guild. She was appointed Librarian of the Ritzville public library in 1927, a position she held up to the time of her first illness a few months ago. Her. husband, Claude A. Harris, preceded her in death, passing away in 1927.

Having a premonition that she would not survive her last operation, Mrs. Harris expressed the wish that in case of her death she wanted her many friends to know that she appreciated the many kindnesses extended during her illness.
